FALL ARTS PREVIEW: theater

“Evita” Zoe Pappas tackles this iconic role in a Theater Latté Da production. “Evita” is a classic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, full of big, lush melodies and anthems. Peter Rothstein will direct, with musical director Denise Prosek and choreographer Michael Matthew Ferrell helping to shape the piece about a country girl who became a powerful and potent symbol in Latin America. Jared Oxborough plays Che Guevara. The musical ran for nearly four years on Broadway, identifying Patti LuPone with the character. Madonna starred in the 1996 movie.
