Parking Information 

As of January 26, 2023, parking is banned on the EVEN numbered side of non-Snow-Emergency routes until April 1, unless conditions allow the City to lift the ban earlier. Parking is allowed on Snow Emergency routes, parkways, and the ODD numbered side of non-Snow Emergency routes, unless otherwise posted.

We strongly suggest parking in one of the following places to avoid any issues:

  • Sheridan Clinic parking Lot

  • Parking lot behind the Sheridan Clinic at Las Estrellas School*

  • Street parking on 13th Ave NE

  • Street parking on 4th St. NE

  • Street parking on 2nd St. NE

*Please Note: The school is in charge of unlocking their gate. If the gate is indeed locked, you may need to walk around the buildings on University Ave to get to the theater.

Parking is provided free of charge in the parking lot across the street from the Ritz Theater at the Sheridan Clinic and Sheridan Arts Spanish Dual Immersion School with entry off of University Avenue. Both lots are open and available to park in during performance times, regardless of any signage inside the lot.

Free parking is also available on the street in the surrounding neighborhood. Please be aware of some residential street signage prohibiting parking after a certain time.

Heading East on I-94 merge onto I-694E via the Lefthand Exit Merge onto University Ave NE (Exit #37) Turn Left onto 13th Ave. NE, continue to 345 13th Ave. The Ritz will be on your left.

FROM THE SOUTH

WESTBOUND on I-94 Heading West on I-94 take Washington Ave. N/W. Broadway Ave Exit (#229) Turn Left on Washington Ave. N, continue for 1 block Turn Right on W. Broadway Ave, continue across the the Mississippi River to University Ave NE Turn Left on University Ave NE, continue for 2 blocks to 13th Ave NE Turn Right onto 13th Ave NE, continue to 345 13th Ave. The Ritz will be on your left.

or NORTHBOUND on I-35W Heading North on I-35W, take the University Ave Exit (#18) Turn Left onto 4th St. SE, continue to 1st Ave. NE Turn Left onto 1st Ave NE, continue to University Ave NE Turn Right onto University Ave. NE, continue to 13th Ave NE Turn Right onto 13th Ave NE, continue to 345 13th Ave The Ritz will be on your left.

FROM THE EAST: Heading South on I-35W, take the Stinson Boulevard Exit Turn Left onto Stinson Boulevard, continue to NE Broadway Turn Right onto NE Broadway, continue to University Ave NE Turn Right onto UNiversity AVE, continue for 2 blocks to 13th Ave NE Turn Right onto 13th Ave NE, continue to 345 13th Ave The Ritz will be on your left.

FROM THE WEST: Heading East on I-394 merge onto I-94 Westbound (Exit 8b) Follow I-94W to Washington AVe N/W.
